COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s Finance Ministry says that the government will pay an extra premium of Rs. 20/- for US dollar converted into rupees by expatriate workers.

The Finance Ministry said this decision was made to further encourage remittances by migrant workers during the Sinhala Tamil New Year Season.
