List of non-essentials to Cabinet on Monday (7)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Finance stated that the list of non-essential items will be presented to the Cabinet on Monday (8).

Secretary to the Ministry of Finance S.R Attygalle stated that the relevant gazette notification will be issued soon after receiving the Cabinet recommendation.

The Government recently decided to temporarily suspend the imports of 600 non-essential items as a solution to the current dollar crisis.
