WHO DG praises Sri Lanka's COVID prevention

COLOMBO (News 1st); The World Health Organization's Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus had stated that Sri Lanka's program to Control COVID-19 diseases has been very successful and the organized vaccination program is an example to the whole world.

He was speaking at a meeting with Minister of State Channa Jayasumana at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

State Minister Channa Jayasumana stated that the success of the vaccination program in Sri Lanka was the joint efforts put in by the Health Sector and the Security Forces.
