Man brutally kills wife following argument

COLOMBO (News 1st); A man had brutally stabbed to death his wife in Damgalla on Monday (28) night, following a heated exchange of words.

Sri Lanka Police said the 28-year-old woman who was seriously injured when her husband attacked her with a sharp object, died after being admitted to the Sirigala Hospital in Moneragala.

The 34-year-old husband was arrested in connection with the murder, police said.
