COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Energy states that no ship carrying fuel to Sri Lanka has been rejected.
Secretary to the Ministry of Energy, K.D.R. Olga said that the samples of all fuel tankers imported into the country so far have also passed the proper testing procedures.
The Secretary to the Ministry mentioned that an inquiry has been made from the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and they too have confirmed that no sample has failed.
Meanwhile, two more diesel tankers are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (02) and the day after tomorrow (03).
