Over 550 arrested in special operation by Police

COLOMBO (News 1st); 556 people with outstanding warrants, 34 wanted criminals and 134 suspects were arrested in a special operation in the Western Province yesterday (26).

Police stated that in addition, 352 suspects were also arrested for corruption offenses.

The suspects were arrested in a special operation carried out from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. yesterday (26).
