COLOMBO (News 1st); The Secretary to the Ministry of Power, Wasantha Perera stated that the supply of electricity will NOT be disrupted to hospitals, Water Purification Plants, High-Security Zones, and locations identified as crucial for National Security.

Meanwhile, CEB Spokesperson Andrew Nawamani stated that a decision is to be reached on the power cut schedule to be implemented for Colombo 01 to 15 from 24th February.

He added that information on power cuts in those areas can be obtained via the CEB mobile application.
