Fake PCR report ring busted by CID; Three arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested three people from Wallampitiya, Minuwangoda, and Kalutara for preparing fake PCR reports for people returning from overseas.

The CID stated that the arrested persons were aged between 28, 32, and 33 years old.

They have issued these fake PCR test reports using the name of a Private Hospital.

Further investigations are to be conducted, the CID officers said.
