'One Country, One Law initiative is appreciative': University Professors

COLOMBO (News 1st): A group of University Professors has appreciated the Government's effort to lay the foundation for the establishment of common law in the country based on the theme of a concept that has not been implemented anywhere else, in the world. The University Professors were speaking at the Presidential Task Force on 'One Country, One Law' at the BMICH in Colombo yesterday, to gather the views and opinions of the university community. According to the President's Media Division, a group including, University Chancellors, Doctors, Professors, and Scholars representing 18 Universities including Colombo, Ruhuna, Jayawardenapura, Jaffna, South Eastern, Peradeniya, Kelaniya, Rajarata, and Wayamba participated at the event.
