COLOMBO (News 1st); A program to issue train tickets through the online system will commence from Friday (18).

The General Manager of the Railways, Dammika Jayasundara stated that a Mobile Phone application has been prepared for this purpose.

Accordingly, people will be able to obtain tickets online using their Credit/Debit Cards.

He further stated that this app is already available for Android and Apple devices.
