COLOMBO (News 1st); The government had decided to construct 25 tourist villages islandwide in 2022.

The Minister of Tourism, Prasanna Ranatunga stated that Rs. 10 mn would be spent on each project.

Furthermore, the Minister said that it is planned to attract at least 1.2 mn tourists to the island in 2022.
