COLOMBO (News 1st); Regardless of how much Sri Lanka focuses on the development, many people don't have a drop of clean drinking water to consume during their day-to-day lives.

The Gammadda team was able to provide the necessary infrastructure facilities to the village of Maha Katuwara-galawewa in Kabathigollawa which was in dire straits.

This Maha Katuwaragalawewa village in Kabadigollawa, Anuradhapura is home to around 110 families.

There are many kidney patients receiving treatment in this village.

Gammadda began working on this project on the 13th of March, 2021.

Technical expertise was provided for this project by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.

This project was made possible by the generous donation of Surani Senanayake, who was the President of the International Women's Society in Sri Lanka in the year 2021.
