Health sector TU strike continues for sixth day

COLOMBO (News 1st); The strike launched by the Nurses, Paramedics and Paramedical Trade Unions will continue on Saturday (12) for the 6th day.

This is against the backdrop of the Colombo District Court issuing an interim order to suspend the strike immediately.

Many patients who came to the clinics in the morning due to the strike have been severely affected in the last few days.

Nurses, Paramedical Services and 17 Paramedical Trade Unions are currently engaged in this trade union action based on 7 demands.
