PUCSL to take legal action against CEB

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Public Utilities Commission (PUCSL) states that legal action will be taken against the Ceylon Electricity Board for disconnecting electricity without permission.
Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, Janaka Ratnayake stated that these measures will be taken in accordance with the Electricity Act and the Public Utilities Act.
He further stated that although the CEB has not been barred from imposing power cuts, they are required to inform the PUCSL beforehand.
