Ragama assault: Three more students arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three more fourth year students have been arrested in relation to the incident of assault of a third year student at the Ragama Medical Faculty.

The Police Media Spokesperson, SSP Nihal Thalduwa stated that the suspects were arrested following a complaint lodged by a third year student who is currently being treated at a hospital by Prison officials.

Meanwhile, 07 persons including the son of former State Minister Arundika Fernando were arrested on Wednesday (02a) in connection with the incident of assaulting students at the Ragama Medical Faculty.
