Inland Revenue, Customs, and Excise to manage Special Goods and Services Tax

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa said that the proposed Special Goods and Services Tax will be managed under the Departments of Inland Revenue, Customs, and Excise.

He said the Excise Tax will be collected by the Department of Excise, VAT will be collected by the Inland Revenue Department, Telecommunication Tariff will be collected by the TRC, Cigarette & Vehicle Tax will be collected by Sri Lanka Customs.
