Probe whether JVP was behind their own attack: Namal

COLOMBO (News 1st); An investigation should be conducted as to whether the JVP was behind its own mudslinging attack, says the Minister of Sports, Namal Rajapaksa. 

Responding to JVP allegations regarding the Government being the force behind the recent mudslinging attacks, the Minister stated that the current Government is one which clearly believes and defends the democratic process, in addition to being one which believes that political forces must coexist in the country.

Citing that JVP is the party which has a history of burning down houses and people, the Minister said that it could also be a personal quarrel of a JVP member or even themselves. 

" The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has nothing to do with this. So I think a proper investigation should be conducted as to who did it," he added.
