COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka will launch an island-wide program to vaccinate those who are yet to obtain the respective doses of the COVID-19 vaccines.
Sri Lanka’s Army Commander General Shavendra Silva told reporters that it was observed that the general public had shown a certain degree of reluctance to obtain the booster dose against COVID-19.
He said there is an increase in COVID-19 cases and therefore, it is important for the people to obtain the booster dose.
‘We will deploy mobile vaccination units to government offices to ensure that the people are vaccinated with the booster dose,” he told News 1st.
