COLOMBO (News 1st); A pregnant woman died following an accident in Werella, along the Anuradhapura Padeniya Road on Monday (31).

Our correspondent stated that a car traveling from Anuradapura to Padeniya collided with another car traveling in the opposite direction.

Another person who was seriously injured in the accident was admitted to the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital.

The deceased was a 34-year-old pregnant mother from Minuwangete.
