COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s Health Ministry said that a new set of guidelines will be issued on Monday (31) to counter the spread of COVID-19, as the island nation for the first time in three months recorded over 1,000 (1,056) infections in the single day.
Deputy Director-General of Public Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath speaking to News 1st said guidelines were issued from 31st of December 2021 to January 31st, 2022.
He said the DG of Health Services would issue the necessary guidelines on Monday (31).
