Police probing suspicious death of man at prawn farm

COLOMBO (News 1st); A man has passed away after falling into a canal at a prawn farm in Koththanthivu, Udappuwa.

According to the Police, the death has occurred under suspicious circumstances and further investigations into the incident are underway.

The deceased has been identified as a 30 year old and resident of Beragala and an employee of the prawn farm.

A post mortem examination is due to be conducted on Sunday (30).
