Public can submit complaints about dealers refusing faulty cylinders: CAA

COLOMBO (News 1st) ; The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has informed gas companies to allow consumers who wish to return used gas cylinders suspected of having defects.

Chairman of the Consumer Affairs Authority, Retired Major General Shantha Dissanayake stated that furthermore, public can submit complains about dealers or distributors who refuse to accept such gas cylinders.

He noted complains can be made via calling the Consumer Affairs Authority hotline via 1977.
