Four dead in multiple motor traffic accidents

COLOMBO (News 1st); Several accidents were reported from several areas of the country, resulting in four deaths.

Police stated that the accidents took place in Weligepola, Dimbulapatana, Meegoda, and Thalangama Police areas.

A 37-year-old man died when a Lorry transporting tea leaves fell into a canal in Mountain Estate, Dimbulupatana.

A 48-year-old man in Ranal died when his three-wheeler overturned on the Lenagala in Nawalamulla, Meegoda.

In addition a 27-year-old man from Wadawala, Karadagolla area in a motorcycle accident on the Denzil Kobbekaduwa road in Koswatta, Thalangama.

A 50-year-old man died when a tipper truck experienced an issue and crashed in Weligepola.
