Charred remains discovered in Aladeniya

COLOMBO (News 1st); A charred body of a woman was found in the Pahala Karaduwawala area in the Aladeniya Police Jurisdiction on Tuesday (25).

The deceased was an 85 year old, mother of three children, said the Police.

The investigation had ruled that the death had occurred while she was lighting the lamp in her house.

Moreover, the police stated that the Magistrate's inquiry into the incident is yet to take place.
