Ranjan Ramanayake produced to Supreme Court over 2nd Contempt of Court case

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake who is already in incarceration for contempt of court was produced to the Supreme Court once again on Monday (24).

This was for the second contempt of court case filed against him.

The second case was filed by the Attorney General following an order by the Supreme Court, noting that a comment made by Ramanayake during a program caused contempt of court.
