COLOMBO (News 1st); The Head of Sri Lanka's Catholic Church, the Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith says that he is exploring possibilities to take the Easter Attacks case international.

"We have tried our best to try to get justice for our people from our own. But, all these attempts have failed. Therefore, it does not leave us much room, but to explore the possibilities of going international. That also means going to the UN," said His Eminence.

He said that the movement will also approach powerful countries that have ties with Sri Lanka in order to take this case forward.

His Eminence said the Catholic Church is an international organization that has links all over the world and he as the Cardinal will take up this case with his fellow Cardinals.

He said the aforementioned measures were not adopted as he hoped justice would be served locally, however, that does not appear to be the case.
