Two hospitalized following three-vehicle crash

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two persons were hospitalized after three vehicles collided head on in the Delkada area on the Bandaragama-Kalutara road this afternoon, Bandaragama Police says.

Accordingly, one car was traveling from Bandaragama to Kalutara when it collided head on with another car coming from the opposite direction.

The three-wheeler which was traveling from Bandaragama to Kalutara had collided with the two vehicles and two persons traveling in the three-wheeler have been hospitalized with injuries.

The car was traveling towards Bandaragama and Kalutara when it veered off the road and hit a nearby tree and fell into a ditch.

All three vehicles were severely damaged in the accident, and Bandaragama Police is conducting further investigations.
