Deadlines for O/L applications extended

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Examinations announced that the deadline for the submission of applications have been extended until 03rd of February.

The Commissioner General of Examinations, L.M.D Dharmasena stated that the applications could be submitted by accessing the website of the Department of Examination of Sri Lanka.

Moreover, the 2021 GCE O/L applications have to be submitted via "EXAMS SRI LANKA" portal, which is the official mobile application of the Department of Examinations, he said.

He further stated that Government school candidates should submit the applications to the Principals of the respective schools using the usernames and passwords already issued to them for the G.C.E. O/L examination.

The students who apply private are required to complete the application form in person as per the relevant instruction.

Commissioner General of Examinations, L.M.D Dharmasena reminded applicants to keep a copy of the completed application in their possession to be presented "if and when" required.
