Something beyond party politics hidden in power crisis: CEB employees

COLOMBO (News 1st); There is something beyond party politics hidden within the power crisis, alleges the Chairman of the CEB Employees Union, Malaka Wickremasinghe.

Alleging that there is a mafia in operation behind the power crisis, Wickremasinghe stated that  it had come to a point where the consumers might lose electricity, and the root cause of this crisis, or the main reason continues to be the fuel shortage.

Citing that another main reason for this crisis is not having a proper power generating plan, Wickremasinghe said that the Governments of past years did not focus on making renewable fuel solutions and did not have any plan in position to implement such, and are now facing many issues due to the dollar crisis.
