COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Electricity Board says that one power station at the Kelanitissa Power Plant Complex is inactive since this morning (19).
The Additional General Manager at the CEB, Andrew Nawamani stated that 150 MW power loss from the National Grid will be incurred as a result of the failure at the said power station at Kelanitissa.
However, he noted that the required fuel stocks for power generation at the Kelanitissa Power Plant are to be received on Wednesday (19).
