COLOMBO (News 1st): Pakistan has transferred funds and first salary to the widow of the Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara on Monday (17), Geo News reported.

Last year, Kumara was savagely lynched in Sialkot over blasphemy allegations.

According to a statement issued by the PTI on Twitter, funds worth $100,000, along with a first salary worth $1,667, have been transferred to the bank account of the widow of Kumara in Sri Lanka.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan also appreciated the Sialkot business community for transferring $ 100,000 to the account of Priyantha Kumara's widow.

He also noted appreciated Rajco Industries for transferring a monthly salary of $ 2000 to her account - which they will do for 10 years.
