Dora makes public debut at Ridiyagama Park

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Lion Cub born at the Sooriyawewa Ridiyagama Safari Park named 'Dora' made her public debut on Tuesday (Jan. 18).
She was born 04-months ago at the Ridiyagama Safari Park
"Dora was abandoned by the Lioness (the cub's mother) after she was born. Thereafter, the employees at the Safari Park took care of the lion cub attending to her 24-hours and raised her," Shermila Rajapaksha, Director-General of the National Zoological Gardens told News 1st.
People can see her from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, she said.
