(VIDEO) 'Promises will be fulfilled in the next three years' - President

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said that everything he promised to the people to fulfill within five years will be fulfilled in the next three years.

The President made this comment after declaring 0pen the Mirigama-Kurunegala section of the Central Expressway on Saturday (15) with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

"Join with me, and faith in me," the President told the gathering that he will not take a step back.

"There is no competition or tussle with the media. We have come to power to develop the country," said the President as he invited the media to be a partner in the country's development.

The President assured that he would always take the lead in protecting the farmer.
