Borella Grenade: Suspects interrogated by the CID

COLOMBO (News 1st); The interrogation of three suspects who were arrested in connection with the discovery of a hand grenade at the All Saints Church in Borella has commenced, Police says.

Police stated that the suspects are currently in the custody of the Colombo CID.

Sri Lanka Police on Tuesday (11) stated that a hand grenade was discovered at a church in Borella situated close to the Welikada Prison.

Accordingly, the grenade was found near the statue to the right of the main entrance to the church at around 4.45 p.m. on Tuesday (11).
