Panadura Salindu's KG stash worth Rs. 20 Mn seized

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Police Narcotics Bureau on Sunday (10) arrested a suspect for the possession of Kerala Ganja worth over Rs. 20 million.

Police stated that the narcotics was seized while inspecting a van traveling from Panadura to Kalutara via the Pothupitiya Junction.

Around 63.2kg of Kerala Cannabis and over Rs. 700,000 in cash were seized from the suspect's possession.

The suspect was identified as a 39-year-old resident of Molligoda.

It is suspected that the stock of narcotics belonged to a drug dealer from Panadura knowns as Panadarua Salindu.
