Grandpass Tik Tok murder: Six underage suspects remanded

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested six people under the age of 18 for the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Grandpass, over a Tik Tok Video.

The six suspects were moved to remand custody until the 7th of January, by order of Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjani Silva on Wednesday (5).

The Additional Magistrate ordered for the six suspects to be placed in detention at the Certified School Makola in Makola which operates under the Department Of Probation & Child Care, under prison guard.

The suspects are aged between 12 and 16 years, and they will be produced in an identification parade on the next court date.
