Application to verify vaccination status: Keheliya

COLOMBO (News 1st); Health minister Keheliya Rambukwella says that an application will be introduced to verify the vaccination status of public.

Speaking to News 1st, the Health Minister said that it would be mandatory for people to carry their vaccination card as well.

He added that the Government will introduce the relevant app with a QR code scanner to verify the vaccination status of people.

The Minister requested the people to remain cautious at this time and to obtain both vaccine doses.
