(VIDEO) Monster Crocodile trapped in a snare in Matara

COLOMBO (News 1st); A monster crocodile was discovered trapped in a snare on Tuesday (28) morning in Malimbada Matara.

News 1st correspondent in the area reported that the crocodile was discovered close to the Nilwala River and it was in pain at the time of discovery.

The 17 feet long monster crocodile had later succumbed to its injuries and a veterinary examination and postmortem will be carried out by the wildlife officers attached to the Udawala National Park.
