COLOMBO (News 1st); China’s Qingdao Seawin Biotech Group Co., Ltd. alleges that Sri Lankan agencies delibartely set up obstacles to prevent the Organic Fertilizer Ship from being unloaded in Sri Lanka.

Qingdao Seawin Biotech Group Co., Ltd. said it will claim compensation from the Sri Lankan government through arbitration via a fair legal system of a third country, Singapore.

The Chinese company said that it participated in the Sri Lankan government’s bidding process with 100% sincerity and the product it supplies are internationally recognized high quality products.

It noted that the National Plant Quarantine Service and related personnel deliberately set up obstacles which affected the reputation of Qingdao Seawin Biotech Group Co., Ltd. and Chinese products, and also caused serious losses to them.
