Mullaithivu Murder: Family members remanded until 04th Jan

COLOMBO (News 1st); The family members of the 13-year-old girl who was murdered in Pudukudirippu, who were arrested on Friday (24), have been remanded until 04th of January.

The suspects were remanded after being produced before the Mullaitivu Magistrate's Court.

Meanwhile, the brother-in-law of the deceased, who was earlier arrested in connection with the murder, was also remanded till the 4th of January.

The Police stated that separate interrogations of the suspects had revealed that the murder had been carried out in a planned manner and had been concealed.

The body of the girl who went missing on the 15th of December was found on the 18th of December.
