32 Months after Easter Attacks, still NO justice - Rev. Fr. Cyril

COLOMBO (News 1st); Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando, the Spokesperson for the Archdiocese of Colombo lamented that the Criminal Investigations Department, the apex investigation unit, and the government are silent over the investigations on the 2019 April 21st Attacks or the Easter Sunday Attacks.

"Today marks 32 months since the Easter Attacks took place. The question we have now is this. Are they not attempting to reveal the truth, because they are connected to it?", he said on Tuesday (21).

He also said that the committee led by His Eminence the Cardinal addressed a letter to the President, calling for the recommendations of the report to be implemented. "We called for an investigation on some matters that were revealed in Parliament. We called on the CID to commence investigations. We also call on for investigation on the report of a conspiracy revealed by Dappula De Livera. But, there appears to be no investigation."
