#Vanithabhimana : Sabaragamuwa Province edition concludes on a successful note

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sabaragamuwa Province edition of Sri Lanka Vanithabimana 2021 organized by News 1st and the NDB Bank was held in Ratnapura on Saturday (4).

Sri Lanka Vanithabimana 2021 is a programme aimed at empowering women in Sri Lanka.

The Sabaragamuwa Province edition of the contest was held at the Keethumathi Hotel in Ratnapura, subject to following health guidelines.

The programme powered by NDB Bank saw winners of the competitions in the Sabaragamuwa Province being felicitated.

The competitions were held under 10 categories including Entrepreneurship, Young Leader, Voluntary Services, Education, Sports, and Environmental Management.

The 10 winners of each province chosen by an eminent panel of judges will advance to the national level competition of Vanithabhimana 2021.

Workshops and conferences were held as part of the programme with the support of the Vocational Training Institute.

The competition in the Northern Province will be held next Saturday at the Weerasingham Hall in Jaffna.
