President & Ranil to attend Indian Ocean Conference

COLOMBO (News 1st):  President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and MP Ranil Wickremesinghe are to attend the Indian Ocean Conference from the 3rd to the 5th of December in Abu Dhabi.

The President is the chairman of the organizing committee of the conference, while MP Ranil Wickremesinghe is a past chairman.

The conference will be held under the theme "Indian Ocean: Ecology, Economy, Epidemic".

Ranil Wickremesinghe will address the Indian Ocean Conference on the 5th of December.

Indian foreign minister S. Jaishankar, Singapore foreign minister V. Balakrishnan and several other diplomats will attend the event.
