COLOMBO (News 1st); The Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has met with the Deputy Ambassador of the Chinese Embassy, Hu Wei recently.
The Prime Minister stated that the two dignitaries had engaged in a fruitful discussion on an array of economic, political and global challenges faced due to the pandemic.
The Prime Minister further stated that the strategy to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries was also discussed at the meeting.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Ajith Nivard Cabraal was also present at the relevant meeting.
