Gazette outlining guidelines for appointment of PCs issued

COLOMBO (News 1st); An Extraordinary Gazette Notification has been issued with regard to guidelines to be followed in appointment of President's Counsels. Secretary to the President, P.B. Jayasundara has issued guidelines approved by the President in accordance with the powers vested in him by the President under Article 33 (e) of the Constitution. With the issuance of the new guidelines, the guidelines regarding the appointment of President's Counsels published by the Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. 2147/37 dated 29-10-2019 will be rendered null and void.
