COLOMBO (News 1st); The vote on the Second Reading of the 2022 Appropriation Bill will be held this evening, after 7 days of debate on the second reading of the 2022 Appropriation Bill, which began on 13th November.

The 2022 Appropriation Bill was presented to Parliament by Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa, on 12th November.

The Third Reading of the Budget or the Committee Stage Debate is scheduled to begin tomorrow (23).
