State Radio Awards: Multiple awards for News 1st, Sirasa FM & Shakthi FM

COLOMBO (News 1st); News 1st, Sirasa FM, and Shakthi FM won multiple awards at the 2021 State Radio Awards ceremony held on Monday (22) evening in Colombo.

Sirasa FM Channel Head Sajith Ratnayake won the award for Best Radio Jingle.

Sirasa FMs (Director - Music) Nihal Wickrama Edirisuriya won the award for best Radio Promotion.

Samanala Sirasa produced by Irushan Mendis was adjudged as the Best Children's Radio Program at the 2021 State Radio Awards ceremony.

Sirasa FM Weekend Assistant Manager Shalika Ranasinghe won the award for Best Radio Host (Sinhala).

News 1st's Jeffrey Jebadarshan won the award for Best Tamil Language News Presenter at the 2021 State Radio Awards ceremony.

Shakthi FMs Vanitha Parameswaran won the award for Best Tamil Language Discussion Program.

Gnankumar Ganadeepan won the award for Best Radio Documentary Program (Tamil).

In addition, Shakthi FM also won 6 merit awards at the 2021 State Radio Awards ceremony.
