Shortage of gas will be rectified soon: State Ministry of Consumer Protection

COLOMBO (News 1st); The State Ministry of Consumer Protection says that the shortage of gas in the market will be rectified within the next few days. The State Minister Consumer Protection Lasantha Alagiyawanna stated that steps are being taken to supply 100,000 gas cylinders to the market, daily. He further stated that the cement shortage in the country will also end within the next two weeks, adding that a bag of cement will thereafter be priced at Rs. 1,275 in the market.
