COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health says that steps have been taken to obtain Parliamentary approval to make vaccination cards mandatory when visiting public places.
Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella stated that the relevant legal documents are now being prepared by the Attorney General's Department.
The Attorney General's Department recently approved the proposal to make vaccination cards mandatory when visiting public places.
Minister Rambukwella says that the relevant bill will be presented to Parliament, adding that the process was delayed due to the ongoing budget debates in Parliament.
