MP Kaviratne questions responsible party behind importing costly fertilizer

COLOMBO (News 1st); SJB MP Rohini Kaviratne today (19) questioned the motive and the responsible party behind the act of bringing down fertilizer for a higher price than the originally deemed price. Citing Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage stating that he is not involved in the relevant scam, the SJB MP Kaviratne questioned who is behind the scam of bringing down the relevant stocks of fertilizer for excess price than the usual. Speaking further, MP Kaviratne also questioned as to whether it is State Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa behind the scam, and requested the Minister Aluthgamage to reveal the names of persons who are connected to the incident. "It is okay if Mahindananda Alugamage respects his master but he does not have to take the blame for his master's nephew, as the people are accusing him," she stated. The Minister has come to a pitiful position as such of Sri Sangabodhi, and he is being forced to take blame for the mistakes made by others, the SJB MP Kaviratne added.
